Sneakers Go From the B-ball Court to Fashion Runway

It's a brave new world where foot comfort is taking a front seat to the historically toe crunching pain of heels and pumps, but for how long is anyone's guess. For now it's front and center with the like's of Russell Simmon's girls Vanessa and Angela promoting their Pastry shoe line and Kim Kardashion teaming up with Skechers but we're not talking celebrity lines and endorsement deals, we're talking bonafide stars and fashion plates donning kicks.
Before the bump, Amber Rose would stroll around in Nike Air III's and IV's. Ke$ha favors Supra Skytops and Stacey Keibler prefers Reebok Easy Tones for her tootsies. That's not to say everyone is wearing off the rack sneakers, if you want to really standout simply sell some of your savings bonds you got for your bat mitzvah or confirmation and head over to Barneys New York for a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers, be be prepared to fork over $625 to $895 for a pair though. If that's too rich, Bloomingdale's would be happy to sell you a pair of Alejandro Ingelmo High Top's for just $495. Sneakers have gone from the b-ball court to the runway walk.
